Oyasound celebrates Haitian Independence Day with their newest release "Tonight We Fly (Aswè A Na Vole)" , featuring Mia Luxana & Jean Mary Brignol

Highlighting the intersections of the cultures of the African Diaspora through the syncretism of traditional rhythms and electronic music, Oyasound brings in Haitian Independence Day and the New Year with their latest release “Tonight We Fly (Aswè A Na Vole)”.

Using the rhythmic style of Oyasound throughout, “Tonight We Fly (Aswè A Na Vole)” is becoming the affirmation and motivation we need to guide the start of this new year. "... Be proud of the little that you have. It may not be a lot, but it's yours. Don't let anyone make you think less of yourself or the power that you have. Be so proud that you feel like flying because you are so happy and joyful." So, fly on and move your body to the spirited folkloric rhythm, by Jean Mary Brignol (singer/drummer), and a beautiful vocal interpretation of a traditional Haitian song by Mia Luxana (singer, songwriter), in Oyasound’s “Tonight We Fly (Aswè A Na Vole)”, produced by Sabine Blaizin (Founder/Producer of Oyasound) and Okai Musik. Be on the lookout for more to come from this musical movement!
